Brainerd firefighters respond to car fire, alarm and electrical short

Brainerd firefighters responded to a car fire at 3:57 p.m. Friday on Hay Creek Road.

A fire alarm at 11:26 p.m. Friday on the 200 block of Southwest Ninth Street turned out to be burned popcorn.

A fire alarm reported at 1:46 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast was found to be an electrical short from a frozen and broken water line in a crawl space.
