Lost skiers found and other fire calls

Two females lost their way Friday while cross-country skiing on the Larson Ski Trail on Nelson Road, about 1 1/2 miles off Crow Wing County Road 25, northeast of Brainerd, said Brainerd Fire Chief Kevin Stunek. Firefighters were called at 6:32 p.m. when two cross-country skiers got lost on the trail. The women had cellphones and were able to communicate with firefighters until they were found, said Stunek.
