Drivers and a juvenile hurt in crash

STAPLES — Two drivers and a 12-year-old Wadena male were injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 5:07 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue Southeast and Sixth Street Southeast in Staples, reported the Staples Police Department.

The drivers, Judith Borg, 66, and Paul Perry, 42, both of Staples, were both transported by Staples Ambulance to Lakewood Health System in Staples, where they were both treated and released. Borg’s passenger, Cody Christy, 12, Wadena, also was transported to the hospital, where he also was treated and released.

Assisting the Staples Police Department on scene were the Todd County Sheriff’s Department, Staples Fire Department and Staples Ambulance.
