■ Buffalo man injured in motorcycle crash

DEERWOOD — A 59-year-old Buffalo man was injured Saturday when the motorcycle he was driving went off the road, lost control and crashed on the southbound shoulder of Highway 6 near Linberg Road in Deerwood, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The man was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby and then flown to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

The crash was reported at 9:31 p.m.

The state patrol reported that the man was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was involved. Charges are pending against the driver pending further investigation.

■ 16-year-old hurt in ATV crash

LITTLE FALLS — A 16-year-old Little Falls female was injured Sunday when the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) she was a passenger on crashed with another ATV on Haven Road in Ripley Township, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Haley Schumacher was taken to St. Gabriel’s Hospital where she was treated and released.

It was reported that Julian Phengsaksy, 19, of Little Falls, was driving an ATV behind and pushing another ATV driven by Dakota VanHercke, 19, Little Falls. The front tire on VanHercke’s machine fell off causing Phengsaksy’s machine to climb onto VanHercke’s machine knocking the occupants off both machines. Schumacher was a passenger on Phengsaksy’s machine. Both ATV’s sustained moderate damage.

The crash was reported at 9:45 p.m.
