National Day of Prayer

We would like to express a very special thank you to those who braved the wind and cold temps to attend the National Day of Prayer on May 2 at the Veterans Memorial in Brainerd. Special thanks to Brainerd Mayor James Wallin, Kurt Mower of the State Patrol, Pastor Dave Grotzke of First Baptist Church in Baxter, Nisswa Mayor Brian Lehman, Mick Thielen and Chaplain Al Klasky of Good Samaritan and also dear friends Laura and Valerie and everyone else that came to participate. Thanks to the Brainerd Dispatch, 104.3, The Pulse and KTIG 102.7 for advertising the event. Prayers makes a difference and we must persevere and be obedient and disciplined. Thanks again very much.

HART Walk

HART would like to thank everyone who participated in the “Cinco De Bow-Wow” annual companion walk on May 4. Even with the weather the main topic of conversation and consideration, HART received about $15,000 and had a very nice group of supporters enjoy the day.

Special thank you to local businesses for their generous donations. To the board directors for their “Sombrero” Silent Auction items, to all the volunteers, staff and community that made this event a success.
