Police blotter for June 27

Baxter police

DOGS IN CAR — Officers found three dogs in a car at the 7900 block of Greenwood Road at 10:09 p.m. on Tuesday. The dog owner said he was in the process of moving and staying with a friend and didn’t have a place for the dogs. The owner moved the dogs to a friend’s house.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE — A suspicious vehicle was reported driving into the woods near the 6700 block of Marland Road at 7:54 p.m. on Monday. A K9 located drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. The juveniles were given a verbal warning and their parents were contacted.

SHOPLIFTING — A 48-year-old man was cited for theft by shoplifting from Mills Fleet Farm at 7:23 p.m. on Monday.

Brainerd police

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 10:25 p.m. on Monday at a residence on the 200 block of Gillis Avenue. A person was attempting to collect personal belongings. Both people agreed to exchange property at another time.

THEFT — An $80 gas drive-off was reported from Pine Square at 9 p.m. on Monday.

HARASSING CALLS — A woman reported harassing phone calls at 4 p.m. at the 600 block of James Street on Monday. The woman said a 1-800 number called her 30 times in 30 minutes.

ARREST — A 49-year-old woman was arrested at 2:15 a.m. Monday on the 900 block of Mill Avenue. A caller reported the woman was out of control, intoxicated and had a knife. The woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing the legal process and consuming alcohol in public.

ARREST — A 21-year-old man was arrested for felony violation of conditions of release at 12:52 a.m. Monday on the 1000 block of South 10th Street.

Crow Wing sheriff

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A man reported at 7:02 p.m. Monday that his dock, located on Linden Blvd. in Nisswa, was hit by a boat at some point.

THEFT — A caller reported a vehicle had a smashed out window and a car alarm going off on the 15000 block of Nokay Lake Road, Brainerd.
