Search continues for Larson

Crow Wing County sheriff’s deputies and search and rescue dogs conducted searches on Monday and Tuesday for Jesse Larson, the 27-year-old Crosby area man who has been missing since June 20.

Sheriff Todd Dahl said Tuesday the search is concentrating around the area of the family’s farm, north of Crosby.

“They’re a great family,” he said of Larson’s relatives. “We’re just holding on to the hope that he’s going to be found alive.”

Earlier, searches had been conducted using four-wheelers and a helicopter but the foliage made it difficult to see too much.

The sheriff’s department continues to ask homeowners in the Crosby and surrounding areas to check their homes, cabins and property for any sign of Larson. Anyone with information that could help the search is encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 829-4749.
