The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:

Jade N. Christian, 20, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge Richard Zimmerman to 18 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee for felony drug possession with the intent to manufacture.

Jason J. Wensauer, 39, Wadena, was sentenced by Judge Kristine DeMay to one year in Crow Wing County Jail with sentence stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (DWI.)

Heather M. Hendrickson, 19, Pillager, was sentenced by Judge Erik Askegaard to 90 days in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.

Maynard K. Goodbear, 36, Cass Lake, was sentenced by Judge David Ten Eyck to one year in county jail with sentence stayed for one year for gross misdemeanor of issuing a dishonored check.

Gary L. Lange, Jr., 50, Brainerd was sentenced by Ten Eyck to 24 months in the St. Cloud prison for felony domestic assault.

David J. Clairmont, 31, Motley, was sentenced by DeMay to 17 months in the St. Cloud prison for felony theft.

Lee J. Doucette, 44, Brainerd, was sentenced by DeMay to 90 days in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.

Jason M. Johnson, 36, Brainerd, was sentenced by DeMay to 17 months in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for 10 years for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

Devon M. Jotham, also known as Kirk L. Nelson, 45, Brainerd, was sentenced by Askegaard to 25 months in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for 10 years for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

Travis M. Rohde, 33, Brainerd, was sentenced by Askegaard to 115 days in county jail for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree drug possession.

Alyssia L. Steinert, 19, Brainerd, was sentenced by Askegaard to one year and a day to the Skakopee prison, with sentence stayed for 10 years for felony fifth-degree drug possession.

Jonathan C. Schwegel, 29, Nisswa, was sentenced by Ten Eyck to one year in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor traffic regulation of being uninsured.

Editor’s note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time that is stayed it means that if the person violates the terms of their probation, that they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence that the judge imposed.
