Nolan Announces military academy night in Brainerd
Representatives from the office of Minnesota’s 8th District Congressman Rick Nolan will conduct a military academy night for college bound students and their families, continuing with an information session Tuesday at Central Lakes College in Brainerd
The event is 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the cafeteria.
Rep. Nolan’s district staff and representatives from U.S. military academies will be on hand to answer questions on requirements of the military academies, the ROTC, the G.I. Bill, in-service tuition assistance, and in-service military occupational specialty training schools.
Tuesday’s event is part of a series of academy nights previously held in Duluth and Grand Rapids, and will be followed by another in Cambridge on Oct. 1.
Each year Congressman Nolan has the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies. More information, as well as the application, can be found on Congressman Nolan’s website: http://nolan.house.gov/services/college-bound-military-academy-nominations.
