The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Vincent Raisch, who was traveling north on Highway 169, was traveling at a high rate of speed south of Garrison, when he lost control and rolled the vehicle multiple times into Lake Mille Lacs. The crash was reported at 9:52 p.m.

The state patrol reported Raisch was passing other vehicles at a high rate of speed and lost control, avoiding an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle then rolled multiple times into the lake.
