The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:

Jamie L. Day, 31, White Earth, was sentenced by Judge Erik J. Askegaard to 19 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee with the sentence stayed for five years for felony theft.

Wallace D. Goodrich, 43, Breezy Point, was sentenced by Judge Kristine R. DeMay to one year in Crow Wing County jail with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor for submitting a fraudulent certificate for motor vehicle excise tax.

Raymond A. Martin, 40, Faribault, was sentenced by Askegaard to 21 months in the St. Cloud Prison for felony check forgery with time for credit served of 491 days.

Candace K. Dik, 31, was sentenced by Askegaard to five years supervised probation for fifth-degree drug possession. If she is successful in her probation the charge will be dismissed.

Guy R. Doud, 60, Brainerd, was sentenced by Askegaard to 365 days in the Aitkin County Jail with sentenced stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Marissa L. Bardine, 21, Oak Grove, was sentenced by DeMay to five years supervised probation for felony fifth-degree drug possession. If she is successful in her probation the charge will be dropped to a misdemeanor.

Kelly D. Pint, 56, was sentenced by Askegaard to 90 days in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.

Jordan M. Carlson, 23, Brainerd, was sentenced by Askegaard to 90 days in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.

Neil R. Dieter, 36, Brainerd, was sentenced by DeMay to 17 months in St. Cloud prison with sentence stayed for five years for felony theft.

Amy M. Murphy, 35, St. Paul, was sentenced by Askegaard to two years of unsupervised probation for violating the conditions of her probation on gross misdemeanor theft charges.

Heather L. Hines, 25, Brainerd, was sentenced by Askegaard to one year in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor traffic regulation-uninsured.

Dario B. Shingobe, 22, Isle, was sentenced by Askegaard to 90 days in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.

Thomas James Olson, 56, Prior Lake, was sentenced by Askegaard to 365 days in county jail with sentence stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Editor’s note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time that is “stayed,” it means that if the person violates the terms of their probation, that they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence that the judge imposed.
