to multiple calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 1:28 p.m. Thursday to the Oak Heights Apartments located at 3402 Oak St., Brainerd. It was reported that there was a small fire in the mechanical system.

Firefighters also responded to a call of a possible chimney fire at 4:47 p.m. Thursday at a home on the 17000 block of Highway 371, north of Baxter. Firefighters were canceled en route.

On Wednesday, firefighters responded to two calls: At 10:45 p.m., they responded to a residence on the 700 block of Southwest Sixth Street to check their carbon monoxide detector; and then at 11:04 p.m., responded to a fire alarm on the 2500 block of Woodridge Lane. Both calls resulted in nothing.
