Lino Lakes man thrown from snowmobile, injured


MERRIFIELD — A 55-year-old Lino Lakes man was injured Saturday when he was thrown from a snowmobile when he hit a snow bank from a plowed road on Pelican Lake in Merrifield, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department.

Steven K. Yotter was taken by North Air Care to an unknown hospital.

It was reported by witnesses that he was traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash took place.

The crash was reported at 5:17 p.m.
