GROWL — A report at 5:13 p.m. Monday of an adult male growling at a child on the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street. Officers were unable to locate the male or a child.
FIGHT — A report at 3:46 a.m. Tuesday of males fighting in the alley on the 200 block of South Seventh Street. Officers were unable to locate.
ARREST — A 22-year-old man was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday on South Sixth Street and Willow Street for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI).
DISTURBANCE — A report at 4:23 p.m. Monday on the 1100 block of Mill Avenue of someone trying to break into the complainant’s bedroom. Officer responded and gave complainant a ride to a friend’s house.
THEFT — A report at 2:53 p.m. Monday that someone siphoned gas from his vehicle’s gas tank on the 1400 block of 14th Avenue Northeast.
A report at 11:26 a.m. Monday of a theft of a $16.99 McMaster’s Whiskey bottle from Brainerd Warehouse, 817 Washington St.

ARRESTS — A 23-year-old woman was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Monday after a report of a suspicious vehicle near the 18000 block of Woodrow Road. She was booked for first-degree DWI, open bottle and other charges.
BURGLARY — A report at 8:47 a.m. Monday of a burglary on the 14000 block of Crow Wing County Road 139 in Pierz.
CIVIL — A report at 5:49 a.m. Monday of a landlord turning off the complainant’s heat in rural Brainerd.
FIRE — Officers assisted the Crosby Fire Department Sunday with a structure fire off of County Road 28.
ARRESTS — A 48-year-old man was arrested Friday for fourth-degree DWI during a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Oak Street.
SMELL — A report Thursday of a strong smell of propane gas in the area of the 600 block of Oak Street. The utility company was contacted.
THEFT — A report Thursday of a theft from a residence on Third Avenue Northeast.
CRASH — A report Thursday of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Curtis Avenue and Fifth Street in Ironton. Officers assisted the Deerwood Police Department.

THEFT — A report at 3:42 p.m. Sunday of a theft on First Street.
FIRE — A report at 2:48 p.m. Jan. 21 of assisting the Staples Fire Department with a vehicle on fire at the Freshwater Education building, 1100 Fifth St. NE. Nobody was injured.
