2.5 tons raised in food donation drive

In an effort to restock area food shelves after the holidays, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley held a massive food drive at each casino.

Guests donated more than 2.5 tons of non-perishable food items.

Shuttle busses full of more than 5,000 pounds of canned goods made deliveries to Garrison Area Care Givers, in Garrison, Family Pathways on the Mille Lacs Reservation and Family Pathways in Hinckley.
