Man injured after snowmobile hit by car

LONG PRAIRIE — A rural Long Prairie man was injured Saturday after the snowmobile he was driving was hit by a car, according to the Todd County Sheriff’s Office.

Joel Tesch was driving along County Road 104 near 321st Avenue in the Burnhamville Township at 9:04 p.m. when he failed to yield to a car driven by Brittany Poegel of Swanville, according to the sheriff’s office.

Poegel struck the snowmobile. Poegel and a passenger were not injured. Tesch suffered minor injuries and was treated and released by the Long Prairie Ambulance.
