Firefighters respond to multiple calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 9:39 a.m. Monday on the 1100 block of Green Gables Road to a fire alarm. Firefighters investigated, found nothing and then cleared.

Firefighters responded to a call at 7:27 p.m. Saturday of smoke in a residence on Jessica Lane in Brainerd. Firefighters investigated and found that an extension cord that was wrapped with heat tape caught on fire.

Brainerd fire, along with Brainerd police responded to a snowmobile crash at 4:27 p.m. Saturday near Lum Park in Brainerd. It was reported that one person was injured and transported to the hospital. More information on the crash was unavailable Monday.
