■ Elk River woman injured in snowmobile crash
A 53-year-old Elk River woman was injured Saturday when the snowmobile she was operating crashed in Lum Park in Brainerd, reported the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Karen Brooks was taken by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where she was treated and released.
The Brainerd fire and police departments responded to the crash.
■ Crosby woman hurt in two-vehicle crashstrong>
A 21-year-old Crosby woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 1:49 p.m. Monday on Ninth Street and Juniper Street in Brainerd, reported the Brainerd Police Department.
Paula E. Pallas was taken by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Information on her condition was unavailable Tuesday.
The other driver, Andrew S. Green, 49, Verndale, was not injured.
■ Foxhome man injures ankle in snowmobile crash
MANHATTAN BEACH — A 26-year-old Foxhome man was injured Monday when the snowmobile he was operating crashed on the 39000 block of County State Highway 66 in Manhattan Beach, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department.
Kelly Etten had an ankle injury and was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where he was treated and released.
The crash was reported at 4:41 p.m.
