Experience Works looking for senior workers

Experience Works looking for senior workers

Experience Works in Brainerd is looking for workers age 55 and older.

The community-based organization will hire seniors through the Senior Community Service Employment Program, which is a federally funded program designed to assist the mature worker age 55 and older in re-entering the job market.

Experience Works is a national, charitable organization that provides training, employment and community service for low-income older people. Through Experience Works services, seniors earn income while they learn marketable job skills.

Experience Works has an immediate need for trainees who are 55 and older, unemployed and who meet the income guidelines to work as custodians, groundskeepers and office workers in the Brainerd lakes area.

For more information, contact the Brainerd office at 454-0610.

Denton (Denny) Newman Jr.
I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
