Brainerd Public Utilities recommends cold weather precautions

BPU recommends precautions to avoid frozen pipes

Due to the extreme cold temperatures, Brainerd Public Utilities is recommending residential and business owners to take the following precautions to avoid freezing of water pipes. Letting both the cold and hot faucets drip, keeping the cabinet doors open under the kitchen sink, making sure all doors and windows are closed tightly and keeping your thermostat at the same temperature day and night will help prevent pipes from freezing.
