6-year-old boy injured in crash

A 6-year-old boy had minor injuries Friday when the vehicle his father was driving crashed with another vehicle on Leisure Lane south of Brainerd near Upper South Long Lake, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.

Rhys Boser was transported from the scene by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, where he was treated and released.

The drivers, Dylan Radtke, 25, of rural Brainerd, and Thomas Boser, 43, of rural Brainerd, were not injured. Boser’s wife, Carrie Boser, 39, also was not injured.

The crash was reported at 7:40 a.m.

The sheriff’s office said snow-packed roads appear to be a contributing factor in the crash.
