Mission 2 Space set for Brainerd Public Library

Mission 2 Space set for Brainerd library

The Brainerd Public Library is calling for all Lego enthusiasts ages 7-13 to take part in a Lego Mission 2 Space! From 1 to 4 p.m. March 8 the library will have Lego experts from Bricks 4 Kidz on hand to work with the children to build space units including: a Mars Rover, Space Shuttle, Launch Pad, International Space Center and more. Event organizers will combine learning and fun as they engage the children in building with technic Lego bricks. At the end of the space mission the children will have a chance to play “Minute to Build It.”

“Lego Mission 2 Space” is free to the public but registration is required as space is limited. To register, call the library at 829-5574.

This free Legacy Program is funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov, 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s art and cultural heritage.
