Train stops just in time before it would have hit semi on N. 8th St. and Washing

BNSF train, semitrailer near collision averted in Brainerd

It was a close call Wednesday morning, when a semitrailer got stuck in the BNSF railroad tracks on North Eighth Street near Washington Street in Brainerd and a train was coming.

The train stopped about 100 feet before it would have hit the semitrailer.
