Much Obliged-Feb. 16
■ Retirement party
Thank you very much to everyone who made my retirement so much fun and so very special — all the people who attended the party, sent cards and gifts, and generally wished me health and happiness in this new chapter of my life. I have been blessed to have worked with such great colleagues, to have such a wonderful family, friends, and neighbors. Lonny and I are excited to begin this second half of life! Best wishes to everyone and may God bless you all.
■ Brainerd Parks and Rec skating party
The Brainerd Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank Wendy’s, Last Turn Saloon, Viking Coca-Cola and Cub Foods for donating chili, hot dogs, soda, hot dog buns and condiments for the annual skating party in Gregory Park recently. The turnout was great and all the extra help and treats brought to the event were well received. Thank you to all that attended and we hope to see you next year.

■ BHS ASL Club
Thanks to all of those who supported the Brainerd High School American Sign Language Club on Nov. 26 at Cub Foods, Baxter. We had a lot of fun bagging your groceries, helping people out and teaching some people some sign language. We are looking forward to our trip and couldn’t have done it without your support. Also, a big thanks goes out to the Baxter Cub for inviting us for this fundraising opportunity.
