to multiple calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a few calls this past weekend.

At 6:05 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Firefighters investigated and found a faulty detector head.

Firefighters responded to a snowmobile rescue at 11:55 p.m. Saturday along Highway 371 near the Welcome Center. At 11:11 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a fire call on the 200 block of Etak Drive in Brainerd, but were canceled en route.

At 10:22 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a gas leak on the 500 block of 10th Avenue Northeast. Firefighters found that the meter box on the building was severely damaged. Firefighters secured the scene until the power company arrived.
