Firefighters respond

to calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two fire calls Wednesday.

The first call was at 11:13 a.m. on the 1200 block of Green Gables Road to check on the carbon monoxide levels. Carbon monoxide was detected and Xcel Energy was called.

Firefighters then were called at 1:37 p.m. on the 9300 block of Forest Heights Drive, south of Brainerd to a possible house fire. Firefighters arrived on scene and there was no fire or medical emergency.
