Snowmobiler hurt when vehicle

crashes into sled

A 22-year-old Elrosa man was injured when the snowmobile he was operating was struck by a vehicle at a trail crossing on Trailside Lane in Merrifield, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.

Daniel Illies was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center where he was treated and released.

The driver of the vehicle, Rosemary Feriancek, 66, Merrifield, was not injured.
