■ LAHRA announces 2014 board members
The Lakes Area Human Resource Association recently announced its board members for 2014.
Dawn Evans, senior professional in human resources, of D&D Exteriors will serve as the chapter president for 2014. Evans is the human resources director for D&D Exteriors with offices in Minnesota and Alaska. Christina Landree of Pro Staff is the former club president and will serve as the board chairperson for 2014. Landree is the branch manager for Pro Staff of Baxter.
Dave Bergin, professional in human resources (PHR), of Fiducia Benefits Group will serve as the marketing director for 2014. Bergin is the vice president of client retentions for Fiducia Benefits Group of Brainerd.
Jenny Castle, PHR of Atomic Learning, Little Falls, will continue as the programs director for 2014. Castle is the human resource director at Atomic Learning.
Deb Frank, of Crow Wing Power, will serve as the club membership director for 2014. Frank is the human resource director at Crow Wing Power in Brainerd.
Ashley Seitzer, of Range Printing, will serve as the club secretary for 2014. Seitzer is the human resources director for Range Printing in Brainerd. Kim Erickson, PHR of Lakeland Veterinary Clinic, will continue serving as the club treasurer. Erickson is the practice manager for Lakeland Veterinary Clinic in Baxter.
Becky Wohl, PHR of Trident Seafoods, will be serving as president-elect for 2014 and eventually chapter president for 2015. Wohl is a human resource generalist for Trident Seafoods of Motley. The Lakes Area Human Resource Association was established in 1999 to promote professional development, networking for constructive ideas and providing members with the awareness of political activities that affect the human resource profession. All business professionals are invited to join the group for a free luncheon at Prairie Bay at 11:30 a.m. the second Thursday of each month.
■ Dahleen joins Essentia Health
Dr. Leif Dahleen, an anesthesiologist, joined the Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.
A native of St. Peter, Dahleen said he was glad to be back in his home state and that he spent a lot of time in the Brainerd area as a child with his family. Dahleen earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, and completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Florida in Gainsville, Fla. He is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Anesthesiology.
■ Kolstad joins Keller Williams Realty
BAXTER — Keith Kolstad recently joined the Keller Williams Realty Professionals team with offices in the Westport Shopping Center in Baxter.
Kolstad is in his first year as a real estate agent.
■ Crosslake Edina Realty announces Circle Award winners
CROSSLAKE — Edina Realty Home Services of Edina announced winners of the Edina Realty Circle Awards for 2013.
Members of Edina Realty Circle are those who achieved an outstanding level of sales performance and customer service in 2013.
In Crosslake the Chairman’s Circle award winner was Up North Properties Team sales agents’ Bill and Joan Grunewald, Kathy Nygard and Jeremy Miller; Masters Circle was awarded to Darla Jensen; President’s Circle Suzanne Coulter and Kevin Kruchten; Leadership Circle awards went to Brad Bethke, Kevin Gyllenblad, Bob Hamilton, RuthAnn Lindstrom, Judy Schrupp and Doug Sietsema.
■ Lee attends convention
BAXTER — Carrie Lee, team leader with Keller Williams Realty Professionals in the Brainerd lakes and Fergus Falls areas planned to attend the Keller Williams Realty Inc. annual convention, Family Reunion in February. Lee will be masterminding with other top Keller Williams agents from around the United States and the world while at the Phoenix convention center. More than 8,000 real estate agents from the United States, Canada and 89 other countries expected to be at the Keller Williams Realty annual convention.
The Tuohy family, whose family’s story inspired the book and movie, “The Blind Side,” were the keynote speakers.
Additionally the executive team at Keller Williams Realty International, including Gary Keller, Mo Anderson, Mark Willis and Mary Tennant planned to provide updates about Keller Williams Realty.
Lee will be learning the newest technology, marketing and overall business practices from top agents.
