The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:

Jacob L. Mongan, 35, Pine River, was sentenced by Judge Richard Zimmerman to 90 days in Crow Wing County Jail, with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Robert H. Bement, 41, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with sentence stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Dylan D. Wheeler, 21, Baxter, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor fourth-degree assault of a peace officer.

Leanne P. Roepke, 32, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to five years of unsupervised probation for felony of issuing a dishonored check. The sentence is a stay of imposition and successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

Krista M. Tilbury, 33, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with 354 days of the sentence stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Shawn M. Hallin, 35, Crosby, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with 335 days stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Richard W. Meyer, 37, Baxter, was sentenced by Judge Earl Maus to 365 days in county jail, with sentence stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor DWI.

Mark D. Millsop, 54, Crosby, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 90 days in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.

Joseph A. White, 25, Onamia, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor theft.

Patrick L. Goettig, 46, Bloomington, was sentenced by Judge Kristine DeMay to 12 years in the St. Cloud prison for first-degree criminal sexual conduct/penetration or contact with victim under age 13.

Colby J. Martin Hite, 26, Brainerd was sentenced by Zimmerman to 15 months in St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for five years for felony of receiving stolen property.

Troy B. Mattsen, 48, Pierz, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 365 days in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

Editor’s note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time that is “stayed,” it means that if the person violates the terms of their probation, that they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence that the judge imposed.
