Teen girl injured in Milaca crash

MILACA – A 14-year-old Milaca girl was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 3:42 p.m. Monday on Highway 169 and Central Avenue in Mille Lacs County, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.

Aleiah F. Ronning was taken to an unknown hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Ronning’s mother, Jennifer E. Berg, 42, Milaca, was traveling northbound on 169, when she wanted to make a left hand turn on Central Avenue. The state patrol reported that the Buick Regal Berg was driving was hit broadside by a Honda Accord, driven by Jeffrey A. Johnson, 47, Milaca.

The two drivers and Johnson’s passenger, Wade R. Valalst, 41, Onamia, were not injured.

The Milaca Police Department and the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
