The Remarkable Music Machine

Children in grades three to six are invited to a presentation titled “The Remarkable Music Machine” from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Staples Elementary School. The presentation will give children a good understanding of how the parts of an orchestra work together. It will be presented by classical duo Carrie Vecchione on oboe and Rolf Erdahl on bass, who perform together as Pages of Music.

Minnesota fur trader re-enactment

Adults and teens are invited to a mock camp Minnesota fur trader re-enactment, 1600 to 1800s, from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16 at the Historic Staples Depot, on Hwy 10 and 210.

Preschool Storytime

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to Preschool Storytime from 10:30-11 a.m. on Friday, March 21, at the Staples Public Library. The attendance limit is 10.
