Crow Wing District Court Actions

Court Actions

The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:

Carolee F. Vanduyn, 36, Pine River, was sentenced by Judge Richard Zimmerman to five years on supervised probation for felony check forgery.

Brittany L. Rockis, 23, Blackduck, was sentenced by Judge Kristine DeMay to eight days in Crow Wing County Jail for violating the conditions of her release on a charge of fifth-degree drug possession.

James A. Aljets, 34, Deerwood, was sentenced by DeMay to 21 months in the St. Cloud prison for felony stalking.

Editor’s note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time that is “stayed,” it means that if the person violates the terms of their probation, that they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence that the judge imposed.
