Fire rips through Cross-Tech Manufacturing

CROSSLAKE — A fire late Thursday, fought by as many as 50 firefighters from six area departments, caused extensive damage to Cross-Tech Manufacturing in Crosslake.

Crosslake Fire Chief Chip Lohmiller said the first sign of trouble came with multiple fire alarms at the manufacturing plant. About 9 p.m. a check of the building found smoke. Moments later, flames were already through the roof.
