Children may dress up in their favorite leprechaun regalia and join in the fun of the costume contest. Registration for the costume contest is between 11:30 a.m. and noon Saturday at the corner of Seventh and Laurel streets. The judges will be ready at noon. All children participating will receive a bag of goodies. The winner receives an overnight stay at Comfort Suites with water park passes, passes to Moose Mountain at the Mall of America, pizza coupons, and the opportunity to be in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The Four Leaf Clover Medallion clues are now being published daily in the Brainerd Dispatch. Somewhere in downtown Brainerd the medallion is hidden. The winner receives $100 cash and a stay at Grand Casino with dinner for two.

At 1 p.m. the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin, complete with bag pipers, the Miss Jr. Teen Minnesota and the Miss Teen Minnesota and more. The winner of the parade competition receives $100.

The downtown businesses are waiting to welcome spectators to the 14th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration this Saturday.
