Brainerd priest delivers opening prayer at Minnesota House

Father Tony Wroblewski, pastor at Brainerd Area Catholic Churches, delivered the opening prayer during the Minnesota House of Representatives floor session on Thursday. He was invited to deliver the prayer by Rep. John Ward, DFL-Baxter.

Father Wroblewski’s prayer acknowledged the season of Lent and prayed for state legislators, asking them to care for the least among us.

“Father Wroblewski’s prayer was a great reminder of the importance of our work, who were working for, and what our goals should be,” Ward said in a news release. “We’re here to help people in need and provide great public service to make our state a better place for all.”
