Raptors of Minnesota event set at arb Saturday

The ninth annual Family Education Program, Raptors of Minnesota, is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Northland Arboretum Visitor Center.

Cost is $10 per family for arboretum members or $20 per family for non-members.

No registration is required. Doors open at 9:45 a.m.

The Minnesota Raptor Center will do a live presentation with the bald eagle and other raptors. Participants will learn about the role Minnesota raptors play in the environment, the three key features of all raptors and how they differ from other birds.

Wild and Free may be at the arb to hold a release if anything is ready to be released.
