Discussion on Windows 8 set for April 9

CROSSLAKE — Paul Davis will present “Opaque Windows and Mysterious Clouds: Windows 8 and the Cloud” at 1:30 p.m. April 9 at the Crosslake Community Center.

Microsoft Windows 8 (now 8.1) was introduced in 2012. For those who have experienced problems while using this system, help is on the way. At the April Chautauqua meeting Crosslake communications network engineer Paul Davis will explain the various features of the Windows 8 operating system, including add-ons and how to use them. Also included in his discussion will be an analysis of the “Cloud:” what it is; what it does; how it relates to Windows 8; and whether a person should use it.
