Crow Wing District Court Sentencings

The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:

Cole D. Seely, 19, Crosby, was sentenced by Judge Richard Zimmerman to two years of supervised probation for gross misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct. Successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.

Justin L. Christensen, 28, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge Kristine DeMay to 42 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, with sentence stayed for 25 years for first-degree drug possession of 25 grams or more of cocaine/heroin/methamphetamine.

Jeffrey A. Smude, 33, Pillager, was sentenced by DeMay to one year in Crow Wing County Jail, with sentence stayed for three years for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Jamie J. Nichols, 35, Staples, was sentenced by DeMay to one year in county jail with sentence stayed for one year for gross misdemeanor traffic violation-failing to stop for a school bus with a child outside.

Rachel A. Lund, 42, Pequot Lakes, was sentenced by DeMay to one year in county jail with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor DWI.
