A 27-year-old was injured when the pickup he was driving veered off the highway early Sunday in Morrison County.

Jeffery Kalis, Bowlus, suffered non life-threatening injuries when the pickup he was driving went off the road to the right. The Minnesota State Patrol reported Kalis over-corrected, veered to the left and rolled over.

The crash was reported at 1:39 a.m. on Highway 238 at 100th Avenue. Kalis was driving west on the highway at the time of the crash.

Kalis was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls. Information on his condition was unavailable Sunday night.

The state patrol reported Kalis was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol was detected. Kalis was the only one reported in the vehicle. The 1993 Chevrolet pickup sustained moderate damage.
