Little Falls woman dies in Pierz crash

A Little Falls woman died Saturday after a collision in Pierz, according to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office.

Wilma A. Johnson, 81, was driving at 10:10 a.m. on Fourth Avenue Northeast and pulled out onto Highway 25, and was broadsided by a vehicle driven by Jerry R. Schlag, 25, of Hillman, according to the sheriff’s office.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in her car, Eli J. Miller, 43, no address, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Schlag and one adult passenger suffered no injuries. Two other passengers in Schlag’s car, 5-year-old Kaylee Schlag and 1-year-old Annabella Schlag, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital in Little Falls.
