■ Motley woman

injured in crash

A 59-year-old Motley woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11 a.m. Friday on South Sixth Street and Willow Street, the Brainerd Police Department reported.

Debra L. Wonders was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where she was treated and released.

The other driver, Caren Bedard, 67, Brainerd, was not injured.

The Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene.

■ Three injured

in crash Monday

MORA — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2:32 p.m. Monday on Highway 23 in Kanabec County, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

It was reported that a Saturn Ion driven by Joseph K. Greene, 22, Mora, was traveling eastbound on Highway 23, when it crossed the center line into the westbound lane of traffic, making contact with the left side on a Toyota Prius driven by George D. Carlberg, 65, Aitkin.

Greene was taken to the Mora hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Carlberg and his wife, Deborah J. Carlberg, 63, Aitkin, also had non-life threatening injuries.
