Two 17-year-olds injured in rollover
MCGRATH — Two 17-year-olds from North Branch were injured Tuesday when the Ford Expedition they were in rolled over on Highway 65 near McGrath in Aitkin County, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash was reported at 6:40 a.m.
Kiatlyn B. Johnson, who was driving, was taken to St. Cloud hospital for serious injuries. She was listed in good condition later Tuesday afternoon. Cody E. Pokela, Johnson’s passenger, was taken to the hospital in Mora.
It was reported that Johnson was traveling southbound on Highway 65, when the Expedition went off the road, rolled over and hit a tree.
The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
Randall man injured
when truck rolls four times
RANDALL — A 23-year-old Randall man was injured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 5 a.m. Sunday on Coral Road, where his truck rolled four times before coming to a rest on its roof, reported the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department.
Grant Balquist was taken to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls by private vehicle and then transferred to the St. Cloud hospital. The hospital had no information on Balquist Tuesday.
It was reported that Balquist was traveling westbound on Coral Road when he didn’t notice a sharp curve. The truck left the roadway and rolled.
