Brainerd boy gets wish granted by Make-A-Wish

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Minnesota, Brainerd’s Caleb Pence and his family will receive the opportunity of a lifetime as they embark to Orlando, Florida to swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove.

Pence, 7, suffers from a chronic genetic disorder called osteogenesis imperfect, which is characterized by bones that break easily. Thanks to Arrowwood Lodge and the Brighter Days Foundation, Pense was scheduled to have a celebration to kick off his wish, where he would learn the fine art of pizza making and then enjoy a pool party with his family and friends. He will be presented with his dream come true — a chance to swim with dolphins.
