Computer classes planned

The Brainerd Public Library‘s free basic computer classes in May are now available for registration. If you are new to computers, haven’t used them for a while, are a little unsure and uncomfortable, or just need a bit of a refresher, we have the tools to help you tackle technology at your own pace and gain the confidence you need to succeed. There is limited seating; call 829-5574 to register.

Computer classes will be taught by Rob Norgon, a retired business education instructor, who has 42 years of training experience. He has varied training experiences from the high school computer lab to adult computer education through Brainerd and Pequot Lakes Community Education programs. In addition to a master’s degree in business education he has earned certification as a Microsoft Office 2003-2007 specialist master instructor, a Microsoft certified trainer, and a Microsoft Applications Specialist. I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
