Hi, my name is Gary and I would like a family, with a mom, dad and kids to be my Kinship Partners mentor.

I am 8 years old and there are so many things I would like to do. One of my dreams is to fix a motor, like in a truck or tractor, but I want to do everything! I’d like to go on walks in the woods, have a barbecue at the park and ride in a boat.

I really like to climb the “spider web” at our school playground. I am a Cub Scout and really like animals, especially dogs, since I have one myself. My favorite book is “Green Eggs and Ham” and I love to watch “Aliens in the Attic.”

Summer is almost here and I would really like to have a family to hang out with. Would you call the Kinship Partners office and tell them you want me?

Kinship Partners serves families in Crow Wing County, southern Cass County and the Staples/Motley area by providing positive role models to youth from the ages of 5 to 14. We have offices in Brainerd, Pequot Lakes, Crosby and Staples.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
