Crow Wing District Court Sentencings
The following recently were sentenced in Crow Wing District Court:
Matthew S. Savageau, 30, Cavalier, N.D., was sentenced by Judge Richard A. Zimmerman to 90 days in Crow Wing County Jail, with sentence stayed for two years for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (DWI).
James P. Trebtoske, 49, St. Cloud, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 15 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, with sentence stayed for five years for fifth-degree possession of drugs.
Michael D. Rodriguez, 25, Onamia, was sentenced by Zimmerman to 90 days in county jail, with sentence stayed for two years for gross misdemeanor theft.
Mandy L. Miller, 36, Brainerd, was sentenced by Zimmerman to five years of supervised probation for felony drug charges of storing meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child or vulnerable adult. Successful completion of probation will result in a misdemeanor conviction.
John D. Kerschner, 25, St. Paul, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year in county jail, with 335 days stayed for one years for gross misdemeanor of interruption an emergency call/communications.
Blake H. Spann, St. Cloud, was sentenced by Zimmerman to one year and a day in the St. Cloud prison, with sentence stayed for five years for felony financial fraud.
Editor’s note: In court terms, when a person is sentenced and given a time that is “stayed,” it means that if the person violates the terms of their probation, that they may have to serve the original jail/prison sentence that the judge imposed.
