St. Cloud man arrested in shooting death of Jamie Wylie
FOLEY - A St. Cloud man was jailed Thursday in connection with the shooting death of 31-year-old Jamie Wylie.
Travis McKinney, 25, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of second-degree murder and booked into the Benton County Jail, according to a jail employee.
Wylie, a former Cottage Grove resident, went missing Dec. 9 after he left a friend’s house in St. Cloud.
Wylie’s body was found March 25 on a roadside in Benton County, east of St. Cloud. An autopsy concluded he had died of homicidal violence by gunshot wound, authorities said.
Benton County Chief Deputy Troy Heck said in a statement that McKinney was arrested near Avon in Stearns County. Further information was not immediately available.
