The Crow Wing County Highway Department has entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for road improvements on County State Aid Highway (CSAH 48) from Cindy Street to Southwest Fourth Street, on County Road 117 from CSAH 45 to Highway 25, on County Road 119, also known as Legionville Road, and on Love Lake Road.
Bituminous surfacing is scheduled for Love Lake Road today, May 29. Minor grading and turn lane construction is scheduled to begin May 29 on County Road 117. During the week of June 2, culvert work will take place on County Road 119. Construction work on CSAH 48 will begin the week of June 9. Bituminous surfacing is scheduled the week of June 9 for County Road 117, the week of June 16 for County Road 119, and the week of June 26 for CSAH 48.

All construction operations are scheduled to be completed by the Fourth of July. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot car as needed. ■ Road repairs on Crow Wing County roads
Crow Wing County Highway Department will conduct several road work projects during the next two weeks.
Motorists should watch for maintenance vehicles and personnel as well as flaggers directing traffic.
Crews will begin crack sealing on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 32 today, May 29. Work will continue into the next week.
Culvert replacements will take placed on Monday on CSAH 36, 200 feet south and 200 feet north of Rogers Circle in Ross Lake Township. This section of road will be closed to all traffic from 7 to 11 a.m.
A culvert will be replaced on Monday on CSAH 1, 250 feet east of Little Pine Road. This section of road will be closed to all traffic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A culvert will be replaced on Tuesday June 3, 2014 on CSAH 23, 700 feet north of CSAH 2. This section of road will be closed to all traffic from 7 to 10 a.m.
A culvert will be replaced on Tuesday on County Road 122, 1.9 miles south of CSAH 2. This section of road will be closed to all traffic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Crow Wing County asks motorists to plan alternate routes for the areas affected by road closures for the culvert replacements.
