The changes include a new mobile reader that will replace all apps. It will be a replica edition similar to the Dispatch e-edition. It features responsive design to adapt to any mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), regardless of size or operating system. It’s accessible through e-edition login screen. The user will be prompted to choose standard e-edition or mobile version.

Another change taking effect in June is that obituaries will be handled by the Forum

Communications Co. Digital Obituary Service. The most efficient way to access this service is to visit the company’s Digital Obituary Service website. Obituaries will continue to be published in the print version of the Brainerd Dispatch.

More information on the obituary service may be obtained by contacting the Forum Communications Co. Digital Obituary Service at 701-241-5509 or toll free at 866-910-9009. The service is also available at paidobits@forumcomm.com and online at the Digital Obituary Services website.

Denton (Denny) Newman Jr.
I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
