Baxter Police

INFORMATION — A report was received at 9:18 p.m. Sunday from a caller on Glenwood Drive that there were possible gunshots fired in the area. An officer located a bonfire on the 6700 block of Excelsior Road. The homeowner stated that they had been shooting off bottle rockets.

Brainerd Police

CRASHES — A two-vehicle crash without injuries was reported at 4:40 p.m. Sunday at Highway 25 and Southeast 28th Street. One driver was cited for failing to yield to a motor vehicle and no proof of insurance.

A two-vehicle crash without injuries was reported at 5:43 p.m. Saturday at First Avenue Northeast and Washington Street. One driver was cited for no proof of insurance.

An officer at 12:33 a.m. Saturday reported a streetlight had been knocked down and run over by a vehicle, which fled the scene. The vehicle was located a short time later and the 21-year-old driver was arrested for third-degree DWI and hit and run. 

A crash without injuries was reported on South Sixth Street and the Brainerd Medical Center frontage road at 1:15 p.m. Friday. 

A three-vehicle crash without injuries was reported at 12:04 p.m. Friday on the 300 block of West Washington Street. 

THEFT — A woman reported at 7:45 a.m. Sunday the theft of a pair of gloves from her car trunk the night before on the 2000 block of Spruce Street.

A woman reported at 10:22 a.m. Saturday that her vehicle had been broken into sometime the night before on the 200 block of North Seventh Street.

A woman at 11:50 a.m. Friday reported the theft of her iPhone on the 700 block of Fifth Street South. 

Crow Wing Sheriff

ANIMAL COMPLAINTS — A report at 6 p.m. Saturday of a black lab that keeps running into traffic at County Roads 12 and 102 in Ironton. 

A homeowner on Nokay Lake Township reported Saturday the neighbor’s dog damaged a greenhouse.

CRASH — A crash without injuries was reported at 10:10 a.m. Saturday at Northwest Second and West Washington streets in Brainerd. 

A crash without injuries was reported at 1:12 a.m. Friday at Highway 371 and Johnson Road in Brainerd. A 32-year-old man was arrested for DWI. 

THEFT — A woman reported at 2:41 a.m. Saturday that her wallet was stolen from her purse while at the Blue Goose in Garrison. 

A report at 5:38 p.m. Friday of the theft of parts off a snowmobile being repaired on the 11000 block of Burgwald Road in Maple Grove Township. 

A Bay Lake township man reported at 7:55 a.m. Friday he was missing some tools. 

Morrison County Sheriff

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — A report was received at 12:10 a.m. Sunday of 15 people fighting outside Scottie’s Log Bar in Royalton. When the deputy arrived with other law enforcement, the fight was over and people were standing around outside. A group of men on a party bus had apparently started the fight. Officers got them back on the bus and they left the area. 

SLEDDER INJURED — St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls reported at 9:15 p.m. Saturday that a man admitted in the Emergency Room was involved in a snowmobile accident somewhere in the county. The deputy spoke to the driver, who had a cut on the back of his head. He said he hit a patch of ice in his uncle’s cornfield and the sled rolled on top of him. 

THEFT — Lincoln Gas and Bait in Cushing reported at 3:55 p.m. Saturday a $20 gas drive-off.
